A new meta-analysis was published in Cancer Causes Control on November 24, 2013.
A meta-analysis of the association between induced abortion and breast cancer risk among Chinese females Authors: Yubei Huang, et. al. The conclusion of this meta-analysis is that induced abortion was statistically and siignificantly associated with an increased risk of breast cancer among Chinese females, and that the risk of breast cancer rises as the number of induced abortions increases. The meta-analysis performed by Dr. Joel Brind (BCPI), VM Chincilli, WB Severs, and J Summy-Long, published in the Journal of Epidemiology Community Health in 1996, was sited as a reference in this new meta-analysis.
